| Al-Jihad sabiluna..! |
The reality is..
When we listen
about the heroes of Islam, they should be a source of inspiration for me and
you.
Me and you! They
would motivate us!
Because we are
living in times of Fitnah. In times of Fitnah, you need people of motivation.
When Ali R.A
gave his first khutbah, what did he say?
It was an
amazing time because it was a time of great fitnah and difficulty. After the
demise of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W, no other difficulty was greater than the assassination
of Uthman R.A. Ali R.A was appointed as the caliph and what did he do?
What did he say
in his first khutbah?
“Oh believers!
You are in need of a man of actions and not of a person who just talks!”
Why?
Because if revolutions
and changes came through talking, me and you would have a revolution every hour
because we are very good at talking.
But the help of
Allah does not come through talking. It comes through the action of
individuals.
If you want the
help of Allah to descend, you have to do actions!
If you want the
mercy of Allah to descend, you have to translate your talking into actions!
How often do you
hear Muslims complaining?
“Oh! Why isn’t the
help of Allah descending?”
How often do you
hear them grumbling?
“Oh! Where is
the help of Allah?”
But how many
actions that we have done?
Has this ummah
prioritized their prayers?
Has this ummah
strived with all of their strength to fight against jahiliah?
Has this ummah
performed their qiamullail every night?
Has this ummah
performed their dawn prayer in its time?
Has this ummah
made the prophets as their role model in life?
Worse, we have
this “warped” perception that somehow Allah is obliged to help us. Somehow (na’uzubillah),
as though we are Allah and Allah is our slave.
Please understand!
We are the slaves! Allah is the Lord! Allah is the God!
We have to
fulfill the conditions and then the help of Allah descends. That is when the help
of Allah descends. Not when you do nothing and you go on lackadaisically in
your lives. Dunya (world) is your “maqsad”. You don’t learn anything about your
religion and somehow Allah is obliged to help you?
Remember this!
Allah is the Lord! Allah is Khaliq (The
Creator)! Allah is Malik (The King)!

Subhanallah...
